Philadelphia American Revolution Conference

This is Elsfreth's Alley, the oldest continually-occupied street in America.  The street dates back to 1702 and the 32 houses on the street were all built between 1728 and 1836.  One of the many neat things in the alley is a water hydrant.  Philadelphia was one of the first cities in America to establish a public water works.
