Social Studies 3/3 - 3/7

REMINDER THAT ISATs ARE THIS WEEK. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY QUIZZES OR TESTS IN MY CLASS AS A RESULT!!!

6th Grade:

6th graders will be working with the PBS "Liberty's Kids" series.  These are short cartoons that describe many of the important events of the American Revolution and the War for Independence.  If students have earbuds or headphones, they should bring them to class this week.  Reminder that the quiz over Section 5 from Chapter 3 will be on Thursday, 3/13.  The Ch. 3 Test will be on Monday, 3/17.  Student study materials for Ch. 3 can be found HERE (link).  A copy of the Ch. 3 Study Guide can be accessed HERE (link).  Also, I will be holding study sessions for the Ch. 3 Test on Thursday, March 13th.  There will be a morning session (7am-8am) and an afternoon session (3:15pm-4:15pm).  Students should have most of the study guide filled out to attend.

7th Grade:

7th graders will be reading a graphic novel about the Battle of Gettysburg.  They will have questions about the novel to answer each day.
